I hear your pain. I tried the online route myself. Had somewhat the same thing happen to me. I've gone back to Rite Aid. Never had anything like this happen with them. In fact I've had them call my doctor and ask about what they believe may be a mistake. May be a little more expensive but I'm still a big fan of the face-to-face customer service.

Hey, welcome to the club.  This year Blue Cross/Blue Shield changed all the insurance plans so that the most expensive, probably most effective therapeutic drugs (this is just a note to August A. Busch, not to confuse with recreational) are in tiers.  It's a battle between the insurance monsters and the drug company monsters.  If the drug companies would just send the army of those tall, beautiful, mini-skirted babes that I see all the time in the doctor's office over to call on the insurance executives, this would be resolved.  And yes, for the female physicians (and third/fourth sex practitioners) they have suitable Ken Doll and Danica Patrick look alikes.

BH, you can ask your prescribing physician to fill out a form wherein he states that other drugs are not suitable for your case.  They may reject it, or he might be scared to get knocked out of the "network."  I am very sure that there will be a class action lawsuit in the near future attacking the insurance companies. You will get a voucher worth $1.00 credit on your next prescription and the lawyers will get $billions!

All I can say is to invoke the ol' Ronnie and Nancy answer:  All our friends have jobs, they worked hard, invested in this great country, and they are billionaires; fuck you little people.
